Hello, I am Jess
Hello, I am Jess, the proud owner of Run Free K9. I not only have my
own business training, Not only do I work at A Dog’s Way Inn but have
partnered with them to provide training to their clients as well.
With over twelve years of experience in canine rehabilitation, I am a
certified pet psychologist and pet nutritionist, as well as a graduate
of Animal Behavior College’s Service Dog program. My expertise allows
me to address a wide range of training needs. Whether you’re looking
for puppy obedience, reactivity recovery, or assistance with service
or therapy work, we are here to help you achieve your goals with your
beloved canine companion.
I offer in-house training while your dog stays at the kennel,
providing lessons that last from 30 minutes to an hour to meet any
training objectives. This ensures you can enjoy your vacation, knowing
your pup is receiving exceptional care and will come home with new
skills.
Additionally, I provide private lessons, training adventures, and 3-4
week board-and-train programs to help you accomplish your goals for
your dog. Whether you’re looking to enhance your dog’s abilities or
address behavioral challenges, I am committed to guiding you and your
furry friend toward a harmonious and joyful relationship.

Puppy & Canine Good Citizen Evaluator
What is AKC Rally?
Rally is an engaging way to test your dog’s obedience skills through various signs that guide you on different commands. This is not a basic obedience class, so your dog should already have a foundational understanding of leash manners and sit/down commands before enrolling.
If you struggle to control your dog on a leash or cannot get a basic sit command, this class may not be suitable for you.
Benefits of Rally:
- Mental Stimulation: Rally encourages dogs to concentrate, listen to commands, and respond to cues from their handlers.
- Strengthening the Bond with Handlers: Rally fosters a close
partnership between dogs and their owners. - Enhancing Obedience Skills: AKC Rally helps reinforce and elevate fundamental obedience skills such as sitting, staying, heeling, and coming when called.
- Connecting with Like-Minded Individuals: Participating in AKC Rally allows you to meet fellow dog enthusiasts.
- Exercise and Enjoyment: Training with your dog in AKC Rally provides both physical activity and fun.
To enroll in classes, please contact A Dog’s Way Inn to submit your vaccination records, secure your spot on the list, and make an advance payment for the class
